In addition, the recent European Regulations (REACH 1907/2006, biocides 98/8/CE) aims to restrict the distribution of dangerous chemical components as well as strictly regulate their use.

Cleaning and maintenance of bathrooms in hotels, buildings or industries require the regular use of scaling, detergent products which bring hygiene and brilliance to enamel surfaces and to plumbing fixtures and fittings. The products used daily contain active substances dangerous for the health of the user either by contact or inhalation. They are acids resulting from heavy chemistry and classified as corrosive. Their discharge during rinsing results in the pollution of rivers and consequently damage to the aquatic environment.
