Plant-based biodegradable formulation which can be used safely. It conforms to the effectiveness required by professionals for cleaning.
KNOW-HOW
There is now international awareness aimed at limiting the risks involved in the use of chemical products (Adoption of the Global Harmonized System by the UNO). In addition, the recent European Directive and Regulation (REACH 1907/2006, biocides 98/8/CE) aims to restrict the sale of dangerous chemical components and also strictly to regulate their use.
The use of surface detergents results in waste water which may be dangerous for aquatic organisms in the short or long term. This risk is due to the presence of chemical-synthetic substances in detergents developed by "classical" chemistry, which are only partly biodegradable, and classified as dangerous. The Regulation (Detergent Regulation No. 648 / 2004) imposes the minimum rate of bio-deterioration (60 % in 28 days) applicable only to certain parts of the components which make up the formulation (surfactants or detergent agents) and not to all of the components. Thus, certain components of synthetic origin remain in the environment after the elimination of the waste. Other artificial substances, presenting only primary bio-degradability, are even more dangerous for the environment because the remaining wastes may turn out to be more toxic than the initial molecule.
SALVECO®, CHEMISTRY INSPIRED BY THE FUTURE
Salveco’s cleaning products for floors and surfaces are 100% plant-based. They are totally bio-degradables in carbon dioxide and water (ultimate bio-degradability) within 18 days window.
They offer the same effectiveness as the leading market products: they guarantee perfect cleaning as proved by independent trial laboratories and experienced by professional users.
Institute for Environmental Research
Conclusion of the laboratory: “The bio-degradability measurement takes into account the whole formulation: there are no residues other than CO2 and H2O, because the formulation is exclusively composed of atoms of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen coming from plant-based extracts. It is a true measurement of ultimate 100% biodegradability. ”
